Salmon Stars with Lemon Pearls
Christmas salmon stars with lemon pearls
When family and friends get together at Christmas, the question always arises, "What should I cook? What new recipe ideas are delicious and decorative on the holiday table?"
One of our customers whipped up these pretty stars out of puff pastry. Filled with irresistible salmon cream, garnished with our lemon pearls on a bed of spicy arugula.
*1 package cream cheese.
*1 package smoked salmon
*1 pinch of salt
*Lemon juice to taste.
*Dill to taste
*Puff pastry stars for ready baking (or cut out puff pastry with a cookie cutter)
Mix cream cheese with smoked salmon with a blender until you get a creamy consistency. Season to taste with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Add dill to taste. Pour the cream into a piping bag and fill into the baked puff pastry stars.
Garnish with our lemon pearls and serve on ruccola leaves and enjoy.
